There is a great radio show by a guy named Clark Howard. Unfortunately we can’t get it on our radio station here, but you can listen online and they have a great website with ideas.

Probably the best idea I have seen is drying your razor to extend the life of it. It is the corrosion that dulls the blade, not the use. People are making their disposable razor last for years. Talk about saving some money. This adds up.

I have heard good things about Howard, however, I really enjoy listening to Dave Ramsey. Do you listen to him? I was just at his “Total Money Makeover” Live Event in Kansas City today. It was awesome. Great advice and as he always says, “same advice your grandmother gave you, only we keep our teeth in.”

If you missed it, my article on this years event will be post Monday morning.

Hi,

Yeah, I have read some of Dave Ramsey’s books and loved them, his books got me started on the whole save money and debt snowball ideas some time ago and it has already made a world of difference. I bet his live event was awesome!

I didn’t realize he was going to be in KC or I would have headed up there for that. We live about 2 hours away. Thanks for posting a comment.

yep, I know where Chanute is. I grew up in La Cygne, before moving to Topeka.

He was in Kansas City, the first Saturday of May last year as well. Looks like that will be the trend. Last year – his 1st time in KC he set a record for the largest Live Event in his company’s history (10,000 tickets sold). In February Dallas sold 11,000, then this past weekend 12,000 tickets were sold for the event at Kemper Arena. And it was awesome, as you suggested. Anyway, my post will go live at 8 am Monday morning.

God bless you and your family.
