WOOT! The truck is unofficially paid off! YEEHAW ! ! ! ! ! !

If all of the exclamation points in the title don’t give away my excitement I don’t know what will. I had the realization this last weekend that the last $580 bucks we have left on the truck loan was set to auto-debit on Jan 22nd, and we have enough to cover that now, why not just change the payment date from the end of Jan to now? Same money, just moved up in date. So I got the payoff amount from the credit union and mailed in the check!!!

So unofficially the truck is paid off (I say that since we don’t have the official letter or title yet). YeeHAW! This will be the first time I can remember since forever that we will not have had a car payment or two even. We paid of the 2000 Chevy Blazer a couple years ago and now just 2 years after we bought her brand new, we have the 2006 Dodge Ram all paid in full.

Holy cow, this just feels unreal. We are just giddy with relief to know that we can put all of that money now towards something else, and that for once in our lives, we (NOT THE BANK) actually OWN something.
