anyone heard of focus forward online? what do you think about it? i participate in many survey companies and have gotten checks, they are usually found out about by ur webiste or a trusted person. However, my mom sent me a link to one she signed up for (she dosen't know much of what she is doing) so I signed up. About a week after signing up I get a survey offer where they will call my house and do a 30min survey and I will get paid $50 for it. I went to sign up for it to see if I qualify but was scared to give out phone number considering I have no proof if this company is legit. Hoping someone here will know more.

I feel like I am qualified for most of the ways to make money at home on the internet. I can't wait to get started. We need the money to pay off debt. We are living on one income but have previously lived on two. I charged alot which was a huge mistake but we were also able to pay it on time. Then I got sick had to take off work and when I was ready to go back my boss didn't have any work for me. My husband thinks I need to not work any more because of personal reasons. We are in debt from me buying alot of things charging them. I also have had a lot of
medical bills for the last year and continue to have them. I would love to get out of debt and live on my husband's salary which is very much possible if we didn't have so many credit cards to pay on.

Are there any survey sites that just send you the surveys you qualify for?

Or do you have to always fill out mini serveys just to see if you qualify for what they are looking for?

Do you use a software program that fills in parts of the survey for you? There is one I've heard of called Roboform or something like that. Do you know anything about it?

Hi Kathy,

A real, true legit survey site will NOT make you buy anything or pay a fee to be a member. We have done several product trials and they will mail you whatever the product is... paper towels, corn, you name it... they ship it to you. We laughed because we had one trial for corn, they paid 5.xx for postage on a 1.00 can of corn.

There are also sites that lean towards get paid to try, they aren't really survey sites, but you can get rewards for doing things you might buy anyway.

Good luck!

Kara,

That is a good question. Many of the survey companies now pay via paypal and a couple (only a few) do direct deposit, both of which work in any currency. The rest that are still check (or cheque in your case in Canada) have to be mailed still. If you are not from the US and want check, you need create an account and see if it will let you. I know cashcrate and a couple others will send checks out of country in your native currency, but not all will. From experience, most companies will do Canada (I'm Canadian living in US), but you just need to check with them. Surveyhead is a good one to start with, they support like 100 or more countries. The easiest way to tell is when you go to make an account, if you can select Canada from the drop box... they support it. The only caveat we have heard about is that some of the surveys are targeted for US audiences, so those surveys would not be available for you... so you might only be offered like 80% of the surveys available here in the US. Hope that helps, good luck.

If you are not from the US, how do you receive the cheque? And if you cash in the cheque, how do the bank know what currency that amount of money is in? Cause in my country, we use "dollar" as well, but not the US dollar. Will there be a confusion?

@ Anonymous - I have not heard of this happening and have not experienced it myself with SH. It is true that surveys can fill up very quickly, especially with SH, but that has never happened to me in the middle of a survey on any site. In general, surveys should have some sort of contact info available (regardless of what survey site you're using), where you can contact someone to let them know there is a problem with the survey. I recommend doing this if possible, as it sounds almost like it may be a problem with the actual survey itself. There have been a couple times where I have had to contact the survey company in the middle of a survey (not survey head) and they have generally been very gracious and helpful in resolving any survey issues.

Has anyone else had an issue with Survey Head surveys?

I understand they have to ask a certain amount of questions to know if you qualify and then sometimes you don't.

My issue lately is being qualified and getting 1/2, 3/4, or most recently 97% of the way through and then it tells me that survey is now full, they have all the responses needed. Is this just happening to me?

Thanks for the tip to set up a separate email address just for surveys. Great suggestion!

If you use an alternate email address to sign up for surveys, you need to check it often, at least once a day. Otherwise you could miss high dollar survey invitations.

Here is my question - I have read several blogs that say use a junk email address for signing up for stuff. But do you use the junk email when you sign up for these or do you use for the offers you get from these websites? It is a little confusing to me. How do you know when you are getting a big $$ survey if you don't give your "good" email address?

@ Anonymous: We have never had any of the survey companies we use and promote bounce checks. We do a lot of research and try them out for a couple months before we share them. I don't like to promote something I have never tried myself. The only thing we have noticed is some companies send checks/payments in two weeks, others are REALLY slow and take 6 weeks. But they have always come through.

Many of the survey companies require your SSN for tax purposes. If you would happen to make over the amount ( something like 600 a year or something), then they have to send you a tax form at the end of the year.

Hi,
thanks for all the sites and tips.
May I ask if you have received checks from inboxdollars and send earnings yet? I recently signed up for the two and I was wondering if they paid you timely and the checks don't bounce back.

In addition, I would like to ask about hits4pay. I visited the site, but in the "terms & conditions" I read you have to fill out a tax form? Wouldn't that require private information? I am a bit uneasy about the tax form thing...

Thanks again.

Anonymous - We have never had ANY of the survey companies we use download "stuff" to our computer. (My husband is a computer geek, so he checks our computer regularly.)

I can't speak for survey companies that are not on our list, but for the ones on our recommended survey list, we have not had "stuff" downloaded to our computer.

Actually the don't download "Stuff" on your computer. If you have an issue with spyware, I suggest you download and install ad-aware.

The only thing the survey companies I have ever used do is retain cookies, but that is windows explorer that does that, not the survey companies.

If you are that paranoid about it, run Ubuntu Linux and firefox like I do. Linux is not susceptable to Viruses or spyware.
