We have an exciting new GIVEAWAY! One lucky reader will win a Seventh Generation “Disinfecting Cleaning Kit” that includes: disinfecting multi-surface cleaner, bathroom cleaner, wipes , a copy of The Conscious Kitchen, a cleaning caddy made from recycled plastic, and two rolls of 100% recycled, unbleached paper towels.

We had a chance to try some of the Seventh Generation products. There is lots of interesting info in the book included as well – good “food for thought”. The cleaners have a scent similar to freshly cut grass (in our opinion), and I like the idea of cleaners without so many harsh chemicals. We make our own cleaners that are much less expensive that these, however. We were not impressed with the paper towels, as they are not absorbent enough for our use and are rough. I guess you could say we are “Bounty” or “Viva” snobs.
