Recipe: DIY Basic Toilet Bowl Cleaner
What you will need:
*3/4 cup borax
*1 cup white vinegar
*1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a clean and unused spray bottle.
2. Mix well either by shaking or stirring.
3. Use immediately and do not let the product sit, as the lemon may mold.
How to use:
When you are ready to use this product you are going to pour the entire mixture into the toilet bowl. Now allow it to sit for 20 minutes. Using your toilet brush, scrub the bowl well and when done just flush to rinse. That’s it!
A few tips and tricks:
This recipe yields enough for one batch. If you don’t want the hassle of mixing this up every time you need it, just double or triple the recipe minus the lemon. When you are ready to use it, you can add fresh lemon.
You can also use this mixture on the toilet seat and lid to get rid of stains. It is safe on surfaces and should not cause any problems!
