Shaving cream can become very expensive when you’re buying it on a regular basis, and I wanted to find a more frugal way to make my own DIY homemade version. I decided to make a super Easy Homemade Shaving Lotion (Shave Cream) that was both frugal and works really well on both men and women. This Inexpensive DIY Homemade Shaving Lotion can be used on your legs, arm, face and any other area that needs to be shaved. Best of all, not only does it allow a smooth shave, but all the ingredients mixed together leave your skin silky smooth. Give it a try! You’ll love it! And, you won’t believe how easy it is to make! Homemade Shaving Lotion

What you need:
• 1 Bottle Herbal Essence Shampoo
• 1 Bottle Herbal Essence Conditioner
• 6 Tbsp Aveeno Lotion
• 4 Tbsp Baby Oil
• Medium Mixing Bowl
• 16 oz airtight container or (2) 8 oz airtight containers

Directions:
Grab your medium sized mixing bowl and pour in your bottle of herbal essence shampoo followed by your herbal essence conditioner. Now pour in your Aveeno lotion and your baby oil and mix well until all ingredients are combined nicely. Allow you shaving lotion mixture to sit out for about 1 hour to set and then pour into your airtight containers and place lid on tightly. Once you’re ready to use the Homemade Shaving Lotion, just scoop a bit out on your hand and apply to any part of the body that needs a good, clean shave. Enjoy.

    I make a similar recipe but I use 1/2 the shampoo. It comes out much thcker. I also use coconut oil instead of baby oil.
