BEAUTY USES FOR HONEY
Honey as an exfoliant. Exfoliating skin is very important. Mix a paste of honey, sugar and your favorite oil (olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil) together. Scrub onto skin to create a nice soothing and pleasant smelling exfoliant. Great for use on rough heels, elbows, knees but gentle enough to use on your face as well.
Use as a moisturizer. Honey is an excellent moisturizer for your face. Use a small amount and massage into your skin. Leave on for 5-10 minutes then wash gently with cool water. Great healthy choice for moisturizing your face.
Honey in shampoo and conditioner. A bit of honey in your shampoo or conditioner can provide a ton of moisturizer to your hair. Apply as normal, but allow to sit for 5-10 minutes. Rinse like normal and enjoy the benefits of shinier and supple hair.
Honey reduces appearance of scars. Mix together a tablespoon of honey and tablespoon of coconut oil. Massage into scar once or twice a day. Doing this on a regular basis will help fade the appearance of unsightly scars, stretch marks and blemishes.
Honey helps reduce sunburn faster. Mix one part honey to two parts aloe vera gel and apply to sun burned area. Do this 3-4 times per day and watch the sunburn heal and fade faster than standard applications.
These beauty uses for honey are just a few of the many ways you can use honey in your daily life. Add honey to almost any recipe, drink or dessert as a natural sweetener that everyone will love. A spoon of honey with lemon in hot tea is an excellent remedy for a scratchy dry throat.

Great uses for honey. The price of honey where I live really makes it cost prohibitive for beauty uses. I love it for cooking though.
