Homemade Lavender Sugar Scrub Bars
Supplies Needed:
1 cup sugar
½ cup soap base
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. vegetable glycerin
10 drops lavender essential oil
silicone mold
Directions:
Cut melt and pour soap base into small pieces for easier and faster melting.
Place melt and pour soap base and shea butter in a microwave safe bowl and heat 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each heat, just until melted.
Stir in coconut oil, Â glycerin, and essential oil until well combined. Allow to cool just a minute.
Mix in sugar until just combined.
Pour mixture into silicone mold, stir a bit to release air bubbles.
If your mixture sits too long and begins to harden up before you can get it poured into the mold just pop it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and it will liquify again quickly!
Allow molds to sit for 2 hours then pop out scrub bars.
Store in a cool, dry place.
To gift place several in a small (4 oz.) mason jar, Â add a pretty ribbon and a homemade tag.
