Moisturizing Homemade Lavender Bath Melts!
It’s time for another great homemade gift idea, and you will love this one!
At the end of a long hard day, what most of us want more than anything is to curl up and relax, and try to get all our worries and stresses out of our mind. A favorite way to do this for many folks is in a steaming hot bath tub. Pop a few scented candles on the counter, fill the tub with really hot water, and toss in something that smells amazing. Don’t you love that too?  🙂
These moisturizing Homemade lavender bath melts are the ideal way to unwind! The scent of lavender relaxes and calms you, helping to get rid of even the worst headaches! Plus, the coconut oil and shea butter help to moisturize and pamper your skin. We added some epsom salts because it is a fantastic way to get some extra magnesium and can also help calm and relax. These feature real lavender flowers, to give them an extra special appearance! A great and inexpensive gift for friends or family with only a few simple ingredients! Better yet, they won’t believe you made them at home!Â

Homemade Lavender Bath Melts
Ingredients for Moisturizing Bath Salts:
½ cup shea butterÂ
1 T coconut oilÂ
¼ cup epsom salts
1 T lavender flowers
5-8 lavender essential oil
You will also need a mold! Silicone molds are the easiest to use and clean. Win-win!
Directions for the Homemade Lavender Bath Melts:
Place shea butter and coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk the mixture frequently until completely melted.
Remove from heat and stir in lavender flowers, essential oil, and epsom salts well.
Pour quickly into mold and allow  it to set. Expert tip: We’re all about quick and easy! Popping it in the refrigerator helps it to set even quicker.
When they are completely hardened, place in a container with a tight fitting lid and store in a dry p;ace. We found these cute little jars at Ikea and they were very inexpensive.
To use:
Add 2-3 lavender bath melts to warm running water, enjoy as you feel the stress wash away!
