Most of the beauty products we buy at the the store contain a long list of ingredients you can’t pronounce and probably wouldn’t want to put on you body if you knew a little more about them. Lots of folks believe ingredients like surfactants and artificial scents/coloring can be harsh and drying on your skin. Crafting your own products at home is the perfect way to be sure that every ingredient is safe and tailor made to your skin’s needs. This DIY Homemade Green Tea & Honey Body Wash makes a great holiday gift on its own or as part of a bath basket. If you want to make a homemade gift basket, just include a loofah, Easy Fizzy Bath bombs, and a DIY Glitter Candle to gift a little of the spa experience. I love how this version foams up and leaves a silky moisturized feeling on your skin, without drying it out.

Homemade Green Tea & Honey Body Wash
Ingredients for Homemade Green Tea and Honey Body Wash:
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp. almond, coconut or jojoba oil
You will also need:
small pan
Directions for Homemade Green Tea and Honey Body Wash:
Heat water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Drop in tea bags and remove from heat, allow to cool completely.
Transfer tea water to whatever container you are using, add castille soap (I used almond scent), honey, and almond oil. Gently swirl to mix ingredients well, use a funnel to make it easier to get in in the bottle. For my bottle, I used a hand soap bottle that I saved and rinsed out. I like using a pump for shower items; it just makes it so easy to dispense! Start saving up those empty soap containers for body wash Christmas gifts.
Now, if you like, you can add a little additional scent to your body wash- Lavender, mint, chamomile, orange, and bergamot will all work beautifully to compliment the green tea and honey.

I like this one. I don’t have a body wash in my set of homemade beauty products. Thank you very much for this.
