I discovered these a couple weeks ago when my wife got some 6 foot subs for her work meeting. Walmart has sub sandwiches that are rockin. They are nothing like subway sandwiches and way cheaper . Yesterday doing our shopping I found them premade in footlong versions (more like 16″ really… I measured it). Anyway, I picked up a 16″ all american which had salami, ham and bologna w/cheese and lettuce on a HUGE sub bun. The best part… it’s only 4.98. Honestly, this thing is so big, I was stuffed after eating 1/2 of it at lunch (8″). The bun is so big that you can’t fit both hands around it and it has nearly 1″ of meat on the sucker. MMMmmmm it was good. They had several kinds.
Anyway, just a tip, for 4.98 the wife and I both had HUGE sub sandwiches for lunch.
I know it’s cheaper to buy bread and bologna and have regular sammies, but we like a treat now and then.
