What is this subscription feature all about?
We use feedburner (a google company) to deliver our daily email updates, it’s a really simple system that delivers via RSS or email. The free updates are simply a digest of all the posts in the last 24 hours delivered in a convenient email or feed. This allows us to send out our free content to everyone who wants to get it in an easy to use automated system. There is no spam, nothing hinkey, just content delivered daily… just like a newspaper.
What are the benefits?
There are a lot of reasons people subscribe. The most common being that you can stay current with the blog and all the great content, without the necessity of visiting the website every day. You already check your email, so by subscribing you can quickly peruse the latest freebies, deals and frugal advice right in your inbox.
What about privacy?
Your email address is used only by feedburner and only for sending out our daily updates… that’s it. Period.
Can you unsubscribe?
Why certainly, at the bottom of every email is a little link that says unsubscribe. Just click it and you will be removed from the list. Simple as that.
