Thanks!! =) I’ve never done a rebate when ordering online – what do I use for the receipt? The packing slip?
The site says I need to complete my profile, once I click on the icons to add more information about me… like Home & Family or “Clinical Trials” it gives me this error message:

Other things to try:
Search us.toluna.com:
I would log into your Walmart account and print the order confirmation page, also send along the receipt or packing slip you receive – whatever shows the date and purchase price. It never hurts to send along a couple things.
Walgreens is not doing $10 back on future orders, just dropping price to $27.99
No free shipping at Walgreen’s either- just the 20% discount on the item using facial20 code. Not sure if this discount will interefore with credit on the Upromise account either…
FYI I did get in the JD breakfast club.
Looks like Walgreens keeps changing their deal, lol. When we posted it, the deal was as stated in our blog post, but probably too many people were redeeming the deal!
I placed this order on Sunday, but just got an order confirmation that it had been delayed. In my order confirmation email, it looks like the price of the cream was reduced to $20.97 and then I was “charged” the $15 for the gift card, so that the two totaled $38.56. Does this mean that when I fill out the rebate form that I will only get the $20.97 back? If so, the deal isn’t that great since my “free” gift card was really $15!! Anyone else having this happen?
Carrie – We ordered from Walmart and the receipt they emailed us later showed the same thing. I am very disappointed in how Walmart apparently mis-represented this deal on their website since the price at checkout did not reflect $20 for the Neutrogena. I agree this is only a “break even” deal if you use the emailed receipt (works out to free Neutrogena, but that’s it). ***However, Walmart does give a receipt that shows the total of $35.97, but they make it trickier to get. Here’s how to get a receipt showing the purchase price as $35.97:
log into your Walmart account – click on order history, then view order details – print the receipt there – that one shows the price as $35.97.
Our order was shipped on Sunday or Monday and is supposed to arrive anytime, starting today! Also, I emailed Walmart using the contact us form on their website expressing my disappointment and asking them to email me another receipt with the correct purchase price. If I don’t get a new emailed receipt, I will be submitting the $35.97 receipt found under my order details as explained above.
Thanks, MSM! They did email me a $10 e-gift card because my order had been delayed in processing, so I may just try and cancel the whole other order (though it says gift cards are not refundable-TRICKY!!), and just use the $10 one they gave me as a courtesy. I agree, this is a VERY deceptive way to sell, it clearly said “FREE $15 gift card with purchase” on their site. I am going to call them today…I’ll let you know if I hear anything more.
Wow, a $10 e-gift card! I wish my order was delayed now too, lol! What is sad is Walgreens changed their original deal too – looks like all the companies are changing up the original deals once they see how many people are doing the deals. Very sad.
RE: Get a free Neutrogena ($35 freebie!) + get $20 free! if you don’t need it yourself, give it as a gift! You can’t beat this deal!
Check you invoice! I just got mine and Walmart Charged me $20.97 for the Night Treatment AND $15 for the Gift Card. So you could actually LOSE $15. I have an email into them, cuz they don’t have a phone number. IF we all band together and tell them this is unacceptable and we expect a correct invoice OR full refunds (including shipping) maybe we can get some results. It’s absurd! Who ever hears of charging you for your BONUS gift card???
OOOPS! Just saw Money Savin Momma’s post up top. Just found the invoice and printed it out! Thanks!!!
Hi Kara – saw your note in Facebook, glad you found the comments here – check Facebook for my reply there.
My order was originally $35.97, but when I received it, the invoice said $20.97 indicating that they’d applied the e-gift card. I was very irritated that I wouldn’t get the full amount from the rebate, so I checked here to see if that had happened to others. I went to print the order details at Walmart’s website like you suggested and saw that it said they had emailed the gift card to me. I checked and double checked and found that they did in fact email it too and I had missed it! I’m so glad I did, because I probably wouldn’t have seen it and like Kara said you could lose $15 if you’re not paying attention (like I did, lol!).
So, I’ve now printed off the online invoice and all is well. =) Thanks for your help!!
