Make Motivational Collages: Grab a piece of poster board, a pair of scissors and your imagination. Clip out quotes, images, beautiful things and anything within the magazine that motivates you. Frame this collage and put it in a place that you will see daily. This is perfect for someone who is working toward a specific goal and needs a reminder to just keep going.
Use Them For Brightly Colored Origami Pieces:Â Check out a fun origami book from your library, or watch some Youtube videos and learn hot to reuse magazines to create fun unique pieces.
Use As Gift Wrap For Small Gifts:Â For things like jewelry boxes or small gifts, colorful magazine pages can make the perfect unique gift wrap.
Roll And Glue To Frames: Make unique picture frames by rolling pages from your magazines and hot gluing them to frames. It adds depth, texture and of course great colors!
Cut Pictures Out & Mod Podge To Boxes For Unique Decor: Grab inexpensive boxes to use for magazine racks, trinket boxes and more. These are often found in craft stores for $1 or less each. Cut out beautiful flowers, scenery and inspirational quotes from magazines and glue to the outside of the box. Cover in Mod Podge, let dry and give as gifts.
Donate To Local Retirement Homes or Libraries: If you have a retirement home, senior center, or library in your area, this is a great way to repurpose old magazines. Not only are you giving back, you are giving the residents or library patrons something new they might not be able to afford to buy for themselves.

And if you go to a local gym or medical clinic or such regular visit places, just bring them to their desk or waiting rooms. I try to do this including all family member magazines we used to throw in the recycling bin; others can have fun reading them!
