DIY FROSTED CANDLE HOLDER
Items Needed:
- Glass Jar
- Mod Podge
- Epsom Salt
 Directions:
- Clean and dry your jar well.
- Using your mod podge glue, coat the outside of your glass container well. If using a larger container, work in sections to prevent the glue drying to quickly.
- Pour some of your Epsom salt on to a plate and roll your container in the salt, making sure to coat well. If your container is too large, you can always pour your Epsom salt over it also.
- Â Tap off any excess salt and allow to dry for 2-3 hours.
I just love how easy these are to make. Perfect for a hands on craft with the kids this holiday season. Just make sure to be careful about using glass jars around them! You can easily do this with a plastic holder or bottle too! Another quick and fun addition to the basic directions is to separate your Epsom salts into 3-4 plates and use a drop or two of food coloring on each plate to create different colored “frost”. You could even roll your glass in all the colors at random to create a “tie dye” or “rainbow” effect. What a great fun and easy craft this year to make your very own Frosted Candle Holders! Pick up some awesome quality votive candles or tea lights on sale and give a beautiful gift!
