I recently read that on Amazon, Tibetan silver is really lead. I recently ordered and kept several pieces and now I worry about the bracelet I got. I love it. Necklaces you can switch to another necklace, and don’t let the pendant on skin. China is still using lead in jewelry.
Paulette – interesting, had not heard that before. After reading your comment, I also found similar info on ebay, about some Tibetan silver pieces in years past containing trace amounts of lead, depending on country of origin and manufacturer; you can read that here – http://www.ebay.com/gds/Tibetan-Silver-A-Buyer-s-Advisory-/10000000003804484/g.html
