Did you know that Pepsi is giving out free money? It’s true! Pepsi is giving out more than $20 million in grants to local communities! Here’s how you could get a grant (FREE MONEY!) for YOUR local community:
Head to Pepsi Refresh Project starting February 1, 2010. If you have an idea for an improvement project for your local community, submit it to the project! You can submit your project in one of six categories: health, arts & culture, food & shelter, the planet, neighborhood, or education. Then, at the end of each month, Pepsi will post the top submissions so you can vote! The winners will get grants ranging from $5,000 to $250,000 (totaling up to $1.3 million dollars!) How cool is that? So if there’s an idea you have for your local area, be sure to submit it and then let us know, so we can all vote for your projects! 🙂
