Nothing is as good as a rich chewy brownie. Unless of course it is one of these Decadent S’Mores Brownies. Not only do they satisfy your need for chocolate but they have all the yummy flavors of your favorite campfire treat. They even have a bit of caramel to kick them up a notch or two! Make these for dessert at your next barbecue get together!
DECADENT S’MORES BROWNIES
2 cups white sugar
1 ½ cup all purpose flour
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup oil (vegetable oil)
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups mini marshmallows
Ice cream, graham crackers, chocolate syrup, and caramel syrup
In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients for the brownies (sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt). Mix until blended. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients (oil, eggs, and vanilla). Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients mixture and mix together until all ingredients are incorporated. Fold the mini marshmallows into the brownie batter.
Pour the batter into a lightly greased 9×13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Once the brownies are finished baking, remove from oven and let them cool before placing any toppings on them. You can stick the pan in the fridge to speed up this process. To create the sundaes, cut the brownies into bars, top with a scoop of ice cream, crushed graham crackers, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup, and a drizzle of caramel syrup. Enjoy right away!
