One of our hands down favorite DIY beauty items to make are these Coffee Scrub lotion bars. We are all about simple DIY crafts and recipes, and these fit the bill! They smell wonderful especially first thing in the morning when you need a little extra pick me up! Plus, they make a great gift for friends and family, teachers, hairdressers, and even husbands love them. In addition, they are great right after a shower! Â Curious how to use these? Here’s a great way! Before getting out of the shower be sure to scrub well, paying special attention to elbows, knees, shoulders, and other dry areas. Then simply rinse away. Give them a little extra pop of scent by adding peppermint, ginger, or hazelnut essential oils.

Coffee Scrub Lotion Bars
Ingredients:
1Â cup shea butter
1Â cup beeswax pastilles
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 T. coffee grounds, fresh or used
2 tsp. coffee or vanilla extractDirections:
Combine shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Stir frequently until ingredients are melted completely.
Remove from heat and stir in coffee grounds and extract to combine evenly.
Pour quickly into mold, some of the coffee will be in the bottom of the pot, just scoop out with a spoon and distribute it among the bar molds.
Sprinkle with additional coffee then allow bars to sit, undisturbed until they set, I leave mine overnight but a couple hours is plenty of time.
Remove gently from the mold and place in a dry container in a cool dark place.
And there you have it, your Coffee Scrub Lotion Bars are complete! These are wonderful gifts! It will look like you’ve spent a ton of time making them or folks may even think you bought them at a store because they look so professional! Give them a try!
