Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Wings
I love BBQ wings! They are a great appetizer at parties, go great with sporting events, but are just a fun satisfying snack or meal. The bad part for me has always been how much time it took to make them.  For example, first you had to fry them, then coat them in sauce, and then you end up with a huge mess.  So, check out this awesome Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Wings recipe… this method is not only tasty and satisfying, but super quick and easy to prep and awesome to leave and forget until meal time.
SLOW COOKER BBQ CHICKEN WINGS:
2 pounds chicken wings
DRY RUB:
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
SAUCE:
1/2 cup Molasses
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 ½ cups water
1 16oz can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons paprika
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Rinse and pat dry chicken wings. Coat the wings lightly with the dry rub then place in single layer in bottom of the slow cooker. In medium bowl mix sauce ingredients until well blended. Pour 1 cup of sauce over layer. Next you layer remaining wings on top with additional sauce to cover. Cover slow cooker and cook for 3-4 hours on medium heat setting.  ***When finished, be sure to check the temperature of the chicken with your meat thermometer to make sure the meat has been cooked to the appropriate temperature
