I posted recently about how you can get Father’s Day gifts for under $5. Well, I wanted to make sure this deal was 100% legitimate before posting all the details, and I now have confirmation that it will work. So, I have confirmation that you can actually get Father’s Day gifts for FREE. Yup, you can get your father, dad, brother, husband, you name it…. a free magazine subscription for Father’s Day.

Here’s how to get your dad a FREE magazine subscription:

1. Sign up for Mr. Rebates. You get $5 just for signing up if you are new to Mr. Rebates. It’s free to sign up.
2. Within the Mr. Rebates website, search for “Best Deal Magazines” and click the Best Deal Magazines link from within Mr. Rebates.
3. Buy your dad a magazine subscription that is $5 or less (I recommend buying your dad the one year subscription to Family Handyman magazine for $4.50. The “regular price” for one year is $10 and $15 for 2 years, but when you use code “HANDY” at check out through May 20, you get 55% off, which means the cost is only $4.50 for one year or $6.75 for two years. The discount will appear at checkout after you enter the code. A one year subscription will be FREE after your $5 rebate from Mr. Rebates. Plus, you will get 10% back on your purchase. That means you just MADE money for buying your dad a FREE Father’s Day gift.
4. You can choose another magazine subscription for your dad, and as long as it is less than $5, it will be free after your rebate and 10% off. But be sure to shop through Mr. Rebates and not another cash back shopping site, as I do not have confirmation that this deal will work at other cash back sites. (Some cash back sites will not allow you to get cash back if you use coupon codes that are not specifically listed on their website, and the “HANDY” code is not listed on the cash back websites.) But, I do have confirmation that you WILL get 10% cash back and $5 for signing up when using the “HANDY” code through Mr. Rebates.

You can use this deal for a new subscription OR to renew a current subscription. But hurry, the Family Handyman deal ends May 26!
