Have you heard of Finish Quantum and Jet-Dry? If you’re like me, you’ve probably heard of Jet Dry, but not Finish Quantum. Well, Finish Quantum is the new name for Electrasol. And, as our one year birthday bash continues here on Engineer a Debt Free Life, two of our lucky readers will win a package of Finish Quantum and a package of Jet-Dry Turbo Dry, thanks to Finish Quantum /Jet Dry and Reckitt Benckiser.

Finish Quantum / Jet-Dry recently sent me a sample of their new products. I received the Finish Quantum dishwasher tabs and the Jet-Dry Turbo Dry. Finish Quantum features 3 active ingredients: Powerball with Jet-Dry Gel for shine, Powermax bleach to remove stains, and Powerful enzymes to soften burnt-on food. Finish Quantum retails at $4.99 for a pack of 12 (cheaper in some places).

I didn’t grow up with a dishwasher, but now I can’t seem to live without one, so I was super excited to try these new products. I have used Electrasol Tabs in the past, but generally they were too expensive for our budget. Also, they didn’t always work well with hard water. But, after using the Finish Quantum tabs for a few weeks now, I can say I am very impressed. These seem to work much better than the old Electrasol Tabs, and they even work well with our hard water. The Jet-Dry Turbo Dry also seems to help the dishes shine (although I must admit we generally let our dishes “air dry” in the dishwasher to save money, rather than using the drying cycle).

I love how easy these are to use. With these, there are no dishwasher “detergent” spills. (It seems like I often manage to spill dishwasher detergent crystals on the floor when loading it with our super heavy detergent box.) I also really like that these are not individually wrapped in plastic packaging, as some dishwasher tabs are. You just take one out of the tray and pop it in! The tab does not start dissolving in your hand like some of them seem to do. These are the best dishwasher tabs I’ve used yet. I would definitely use them again!

So, would YOU like to try these great Finish Quantum tabs and the Jet-Dry Turbo Dry too? Well, two lucky winners will win a set of both. That means each winner will get one package (12 pack) of Finish Quantum tabs AND one package of Jet-Dry Turbo Dry.

You can also enter the Finish Quantum Everyday Sweepstakes for a chance to win diamond jewelry, a new dishwasher, and a year’s supply of Finish Products. You can enter at their website here.

According to a recent study, automatic dishwashers use in average 4-6 gallons of water per wash, whereas manual dishwashing uses 27 gallons in order to clean the same number of dishes. Hence automatic dishwashing saves up to 85% of water compared to hand-washing.

That is a huge savings I loved finding that out I can use it as leverage on handwashing verses dishwashing. Hubby doesnt like dishwashers.
