I tried to do this, but it kept telling me that I had nothing in my cart when I tried to checkout. Hmmm…

Nevermind…I figured it out…I wasn't putting in the 4 email addresses. Is there a way to get the item for free for real, without paying the $8 shipping?

Frill – I have never done this deal, but some people in the chat room have. This seems to be one of those deals that people either love or hate. I suppose some day I will try it myself when I have more time. 🙂
If anyone else has done this deal, please let us know how it worked for you! Thanks!

Frill – I think there is, something comes up at the end offering $1 shipping, but if you sign up for that, it enrolls you in a program and then you have to cancel your subscription or you are billed every month. If you go ahead and pay the shipping, you are not enrolled in that program where you have to cancel.
Again, I have not done this deal – this is just based on what others told me who successfully have. That's why some people love the deal, and some hate it! The people who didn't figure out how to cancel program they enrolled in to get free shipping hated it. The ones who paid the shipping and/or figured out how to cancel the auto-enroll program that gave them cheap shipping loved it. Hope that makes sense.
Maybe someone else will step in who has done this deal. And again, someday we will probably try it too! 🙂

One thing I wanted to mention that applies to any online deal, and this one in particular since some people have success with getting it free, and some don't – whenever ordering from companies online, it's a good idea to use a pre-paid credit card with a limited spending amount, or use a specific card only for internet purchases. Always keep a close eye on your credit card statements to make sure all charges are yours. If you ever notice anything suspicious, call your credit card company right away. Also contact the Better Business Bureau if any issues are not otherwise resolved. We had problems with a specific company several months ago (not related to an online deal), and we got the better business bureau involved, and the complaint was quickly resolved.
