Donate expired coupons to military: Did you know you can donate expired coupons to military personnel / military bases overseas? A lot of of readers use coupons, so I want to make sure you are aware that you can donate expired coupons to military bases overseas. Military personnel and their families can use these coupons up to 6 months past the coupon expiration dates. For more information, check out the Overseas Coupon Program. It will explain how you can get started sending coupons to military personnel and where to send the coupons. The cost of sending the coupons is the same as mailing them to anyone in the United States, as the United States military bases are considered part of the United States territories.

As a military spouse, I know that expired coupons can actually be used at my commissary on Ft. Carson (Colorado Springs, CO) and I am assuming all commissaries both overseas and in the US. I’d love to receive anyone’s expired coupons if they would like to utilize a more personal exchange. Thank you!
