One thing I’d really like to do in 2010 is get to know all of YOU, our wonderful readers, better! Right now I’m wondering if any of you out there have your own blogs. If you do, we’d love to hear from you and learn more about your blog. We love “meeting” and getting to know other bloggers! So if you have your own blog, please leave a comment telling us about your blog and how you got started blogging! Or feel free to drop me a line at eadflmomma at gmail dot com or use the contact form on our site to tell us about it!
And if you run across any hot deals or freebies (whether you have a blog or not), be sure to drop us note so we can share the deals with all of our readers and help each other save money. You all ROCK! 🙂
UPDATE: Even if you don’t have a blog, feel free to leave a comment and introduce yourself!! We have had people use the contact form to do this as well! We’d love to hear from all of you!

I do have a blog. It’s recent. My dh is a writer, and I joined a forum with him a few months ago. I enjoyed it so much, I started a blog. It’s basically about life, faith, and anything else that strikes my fancy. 😉

Hey MSM, I’ve got a blog called Steadfast Finances.
I got my start in late 2008 because many of the family and friends I knew kept hitting me up for financial advice/help, so I thought I would give the blogging thing a try. Seems to have worked out pretty well thus far.

I have a blog that started out as just weight loss and my thoughts on a book I was reading at the time about it (Intuitive Eating). It has morphed into weight loss, my day to day life at times, and alot of info on the Breast Cancer 3 Day and my training and fundraising for that.
Speaking of…I need to make a post sometime this week.

I do have a blog at
I started the blog because I got tired of having to call all of my friends and tell them what deals were in our area and how I did my transactions. This way they couls look at the blog and all the information was there. It can be very time consuming calling all my gal pals :- )
I enjoy visiting other bloggers websites with awesome information like yours. Thank you for wanting to know us better in 2010

I’ve been blogging called The Thrifty, Frugal Mom where I post freebies and deals as well as money saving ideas and tips. I started it because using money wisely is something I enjoy and I also helped a couple of friends start couponing and it was easier to just do a blog than be calling them all the time.
Thanks for your blog… I enjoy stopping by for visits. 🙂

I have a blog. http://www.thingsidotosavemoney.wordpress.com I created it to help myself stay on track with saving and frugal living. Just recently I added the Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. So I’ve been blogging about my progress on that. I also have my meal plans and some cheap recipes on there.

Mine is http://livingononeincome.blogspot.com
I started blogging 2 years ago. I really don’t know why I started… it was just kind of an idea I hatched. My blog is like yours… good deals and freebies, plus whatever money related link and musings I share w/readers. I’m hoping to spruce it up a bit, but I am html deficient and need hubby’s help to change out my blog template. I have outgrown the template I have and more. 🙂

I started a blog about my son when he was born to keep my family overseas updated as he grew up. It’s at I update it a couple times a week. It has morphed to include general updates about what our family is doing. It has been a great way to stay connected!

I DO have a blog! It’s http://www.animalfreebeauty.blogspot.com
I blog information and reviews on beauty products that don’t have any animal byproducts. Do you know how many of our lotions, cleansers and shampoos have animal fat in them? YUCK!

Similar to Matt, I started a personal finance blog because friends and family kept coming to me for advice. So I ditched my personal blog and started a new one.

I DO have a blog as well! It’s http://jonnyek.blogspot.com!
I blog about free stuff, coupons, coupon match ups with weekly ads, sweepstakes and more! I started with inspiration from Freebies4Mom. Of course, mine is just for fun because I’m employed full time, but I still keep it up!

I have a blog also at http://www.thefrugalfreeloader.blogspot.com I started it because like others have commented, I have a lot of people who are always asking me whats on sale, and how much did you save this week and how did you do it. So I blog often about any freebies or deals I find as well as how I did on each of my shopping outings, which keeps me held accountable not to spend too much! I really like your site and follow you on facebook. I love to read all your posts. They have been very helpful. So glad you want to get to know a little about your readers. I hope you and all your readers have a prosperous 2010!

I’ve got three blogs, one which I try to keep updated regularly (http://4boyz4me.blogspot.com) and two others which are more spotty but I’m hoping to become more regular with: my homeschooling blog (http://davisacademy4boyz.blogspot.com) and my weight loss journey (http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_summary.asp?id=4BOYZ4ME). The family one started so I could share about what was going on in our lives after our youngest joined the family. It let me journal about him and my other children which I had never really done before. Now it’s morphed into a whole lot more. I journal about whatever strikes my fancy, sometimes deals I find, the books I read, recipe sites I like, our general life. The homeschooling one started when we went more independent so I could have more records of what we were doing. Unfortunately, I’m so busy doing it that I lose track of time to blog about it. It’s something I really want to make a higher priority. Same thing with the weight loss one.
Can I say what a neat idea this is? Thanks!

My blog at is currently undergoing a complete rewrite and hosting change so there’s not a lot to see there yet, but the concept is to introduce people to various (free! I’m not some scammer!) PTC websites and the concept of making money online through PTC and referral programs.
I play a lot of online games and people often ask me how I can afford to put extra money into them and I always have to explain to them how I get money sent to my Paypal through PTC sites, then I use that money to buy/donate to games and other things I like online, then they want to know some sites… so on and so forth. So now I can just send them to my blog, once I really get it going.
I’m planning to add video tutorials for the various sites too, and articles about how the reader can start their own blog 🙂

I have a blog at http://www.CheapEncounters.com dedicated to personal finance, money deals, and generally frugal living. I started this as a creative outlet three years ago. I’ve always liked to write but have never sat down and written a book (hope to change that this year), so this was a way for me to write in smaller pieces.
