I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Walmart. In addition, I received a Walmart gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate and one to offer as a giveaway.

Ideas for feeding a big crowd? Ummm, definitely buy things in bulk, & then have a simple meal plan. Like a big pot of soup w/ cornbread or bread rolls or buns. Or several big pans of a simple casserole that can be mixed ahead & then baked right before time to eat. Serve that w/ salad & dessert. Even that can stay simple. Make a big batch of potato or maccaroni salad or leafy greens salad. Dessert doesn’t have to be that fancy. Mix one big batch of cheesecake for several pans & serve fruit w/ it.

Idea for feeding a large crowd.. pot luck meal! Have each person bring an item of food and not only do you end up with a huge variety of food, but you also don’t spend much at all on the food item do you personally decide to bring. Buying in bulk is also a huge one!

my favorite for a large crowd is a big crock pot of chicken tortilla chip soup during the winter or a huge thing of taco salad in the spring/summer…and then have everyone bring a side dish to share!
