Crockpot Chicken and Noodles: Best Easy Slow Cooker Recipe!
We love comfort food, but mostly we love easy to cook comfort food. Nothing is more comforting than chicken and noodles and this time you can cook it in your slow coooker. Our Crockpot Chicken and Noodles are the perfect comfort food for you on a cool fall or winter evening. So easy to throw together and let cook while you spend time with your family. If your family loves more veggies you can easily toss in things like peas, chunks of potatoes or even a few pieces of spinach. For gluten free, grab some gluten free pasta and substitute instead of the frozen egg noodles! I am a huge fan of using the slow cooker as much as possible, so you’ll want to give this yummy crock pot chicken and noodles recipe a try! CROCKPOT CHICKEN AND NOODLES
Ingredients:
2 Cups Shredded Chicken
1 ½ Cups Baby Carrots or Carrot Slices
4 Stalks Celery Chopped
1 Small Onion Diced Fine
4 Cups Chicken Stock
1 Package Frozen Egg Noodles
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
2 Teaspoons Black Pepper
2 Teaspoon Rubbed Sage
1 Teaspoon Thyme
1 Teaspoon
1 Teaspoon Salt
Directions:
- Combine all in ingredients except noodles into Crock pot / Slow Cooker
- Cook on low heat for 2 hours.
- Add noodles in and cook on low heat for additional 1 ½ hours.
This Crockpot Chicken and Noodles meal is such a great way to throw together a simple, yet hearty meal for your family. You can easily adapt this for gluten free with different noodles. The base is great for soups too! Add another couple of cups of chicken stock and toss in regular pasta for a great chicken noodle soup instead.
