7 Creative Uses for Leftover Condiments

If you order take out or hit up the drive through often, chances are you have condiment packets accumulating in your fridge! Often times these condiments go to waste, since people forget they have them or don’t want to bother with them. Well instead of tossing them, take a look below at 7 creative uses for leftover condiments that you can try. You will find that those leftover ketchup, mustard, and other sauce packets can be quite valuable!

1. Save them for school lunches.
Whether you pack a lunch or your child gets lunch at school, these packets can really come in hand. Save them for these lunches so kids can add a little flavor when needed.

2. Add them to your homeless care packages.
Create homeless care packages that include travel size toiletries and snacks. If you add sandwiches, adding in the condiments can be the perfect touch.

3. Make your own dips.
Mix a little ketchup and BBQ sauce for the perfect chip or fry dip. You can also use the condiment packets as ingredients to other dip recipes you might find.

4. Make travel size snacks.
Make snacks to go when you pair a baggie of fresh veggies with a ranch packet, or a baggie of pretzels with a mustard packet.

5. Donate them.
Take the condiment packets to a local soup kitchen where budgets are tight. They will be happy to take them and the guests they serve will be happy to use them.

6. Make mini cold packs.
Throw those tiny packets in the freezer to make mini cold packs. They will feel great on boo boos and can soothe burns or other skin irritations.

7. Take them to work.
Keep a few in an air tight baggie and take them to work with you. This way when you bring your lunch to work, you have toppings and dips on hand. The best part is, they fit in a desk and don’t take up a lot of space.

Don’t let those condiment packets go to waste. Instead, give these tips for using leftover condiment packets a try and see how you can in fact put them to good use.
